There is never a bad time for children to visit the dentist, and it’s never too late to start. Whether your child has been seen every six months since they cut their first tooth or if your child is in need of their first ever dental check, we are prepared to work with your family to make sure everyone’s needs are met.
A visit for a kindergardner will include an exam and cleaning. If your child’s back teeth are touching each other, we will take a couple x-rays to check for cavities between the teeth. Dr. Cattle will perform a head and neck exam, check tooth development and position, look for cavities, and discuss any other concerns you have. We will evaluate your child’s hygiene practices and teach them some tricks for better brushing and flossing at home. We will also clean their teeth and apply a fluoride varnish to help prevent cavities.
